ANPPCAN ZAMBIA has four broad areas of work, namely:

Work under this scope is segmented. For instance, there is a segment called Direct Education Support in collaboration with the Ministry of Education - Zambia. This segment has a target of 400 children to receive secondary level education. Another segment called Vocational Skills with TEVETA encompasses 60 youths to receive vocational skills training.

Child Protection
Work under this scope is sponsored by Save the Children - Sweden. This scope is concerned with protecting the rights of the Zambian Child. Tackling Child Labour through Education & Recreation(TACKLE)
This scope of our work seeks to tackle Child Labour through Education. It is sponsored by International Labour Organisation(ILO).Work under this scope is segmented. For instance, there is a segment called Direct Education Support in collaboration with the Ministry of Education - Zambia. This area of work is concerned with empowering households, especially women who look after vulnerable children using the Self Help Group (SHG) Approach.This approach helps the target build their self-reliance and ability to solve their own problems

Exchange of Personnel Programme
Under this scope of work, ANPPCAN Zambia Chapter shares information with the other Chapters of the Network in Africa. This is done through sending personnel to the other chapters and receiving personnel from the other chapters.Through this programme, information on child rights, protection, abuse, neglect, etc, and ways of curbing problems that affect children is shared.
